Carsington Water is a lovely drive 10 minutes away, with Matlock and Matlock Bath just a few miles further, where you can visit Gullivers Kingdom very popular with kids. Alton Towers is another favourite 15 mins drive. Chatsworth house is 20 mins away, so plenty to do and see in this area. These are just a few.
